Tuesday Evenings at the Parsonage:
Groups will not meet on either the 1st or 5th Tuesdays of the month.
Second Tuesdays: Book of the Month Club
Our next book will be Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. Please read the novel prior to the meeting on January 12th. This group will meet at 7:30 pm. For a list of books, see the Book of the Month page.
Third Tuesdays: For Women Only
This will be an evening of relaxation, fellowship, and prayer for women 21 and older. This group will meet at 7:30 pm beginning January 19th.
Fourth Tuesdays: Let’s Talk About
Each month we will explore various social and moral issues through award-winning films. The films will begin promptly at 6:30, followed by a discussion. Our next topic will be racism. We will watch the 2000 film Remember the Titans--a great film to watch with your kids 5th grade and older. This film is rated PG-13 for thematic elements and some language. This film will be shown on January 26th in the NBCC Chapel.

Sunday Evening Bible Study in the Chapel: The Alpha Course
This group will meet from 5:30 – 7:00 PM beginning February 7th for 15 weeks (with the exception of Easter Sunday).
What do you believe about God? Could you explain it to someone else if asked? Alpha is an inernationally renowned course on DVD that explains the basic tenets of the Christian faith in an intelligent and engaging manner. Whether you have attended church your entire life or have never been before, Alpha will help you gro in your understanding of God and invigorate your faith. You will not need to prepare anything before you come, nor will there be any homework assignments, however, there are study guides available for $4 if you would like to dig a little deeper into the weekly topic on your own.
Each session includes a video presentation on a specific topic, followed by a group discussion. Invite your friends!
