Fellowship Coffee Hour and Second Sunday Brunch

Please join us for a warm welcome, a hot cup of coffee, and some delicious snacks downstairs in our Fellowship Hall after the Sunday service. We’d love to get to know you! An elevator is available for your convenience.

On the Second Sunday of each month from September through May, we invite you to enjoy breakfast on us! The Second Sunday Brunch Crew will fix you eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, coffee, juice, hot cocoa, and warm muffins. All are welcome!

Fun and Fellowship Events

Camping trips, Bingo Night, Theater trips, Movie Nights, trips to local points of interest—these are just some of the events our Fun and Fellowship team has planned in the past year. Check out the News page for upcoming events.

Ladies Sewing Society

The Ladies Sewing Society was organized in 1878. It was through the efforts of the ladies that the Chapel or “Ladies’ Parlor” was built in 1887, and the organization is still meeting—102 years later. The oldest women’s organization in town, The Ladie’s Sewing Society hosts two American Red Cross blood drives each year, has provided “premie hats” to local hospitals and prayer shawls to anyone who needs one. This group has been involved in numerous charities over the years including the Mary Wade House. They participate in all church fundraisers and hold two annual luncheons, one at Christmas and one in the Spring. The Ladies meet the second Wednesday of the month at 10 am in the chapel.

Mr/Mrs Club

Organized in 1941 by the Rev. GD. Lessley as the “Young Mr. and Mrs. Club,” this group has been active in both the church and the NOrth Branford community for over fifty years. With a focus on fellowship, holding picnics and pot luck dinners, Mr./Mrs. Club also signs up Greeters each Sunday and has donated many needed items and hosted many events in the church over the years. Mr./Mrs. Club is open to everyone.

Youth Group: STATIC

Students Taking Action Together in Christ, or STATIC, is NBCC’s high school youth group which meets on Sunday evenings from 5-7 pm. Each meeting offers bible study, snacks and beverages, and a good time with great friends. The group is open to anyone in senior high (grades 9-12) and it doesn't matter if you are a member of our church family or if you've never been to church before--we welcome everyone. For more, check out the STATIC page.

By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
